Finding a place to call your home in college is important.

Located at 91 Washington Street (corner of Washington and Bleeker) and adjacent to Saint Patrick's Pro-Cathedral, the Newman Catholic Center serves as the “home base” for our ministry. The Center serves as a great place to study, hang out with friends, grab a snack or cook dinner, meet with our campus ministers and chaplains, watch the latest episode of Stranger Things, or to demolish someone in a round of Mario Kart 8.

The “Newman Café” is our renovated student lounge complete with a stocked with free Wi-Fi, a widescreen TV, Nintendo Switch, and more! The comfy couches definitely also serve as a place to nap in between classes.

We also have a full kitchen with a stocked fridge and pantry, coffee bar, and snacks! The Newman Kitchen is free to use to cook a quick meal or to save some left-overs as long as you leave the kitchen the same way you found it!

Our Newman Library is stocked with Catholic resources, containing hundreds of volumes of books for reference and checkout. Books cover theology, philosophy, biblical studies, the Church, apologetics, spirituality, saints, Mary, morality, church teachings, history, fiction and more. The library features a conference style table and has a computer (with free copying and printing!) available for use - making it the perfect place to study for exams or meet up for group projects.

The Newman Center is also home to the offices of our Chaplains and Campus Minister, giving students the opportunity to seek out advice, learn about their faith, and find out ways to get more involved in Newman Catholic.

Feel free to stop in any time for a visit! Our chaplains and campus ministers are here to answer questions and help orient you around campus, our faith, and life in general!
